Krzysztof Lenk studied graphic design and graduated with an MFA degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (Poland). Before coming to the United States, he worked as a designer, design director and consultant for clients in Poland, France and Germany on a variety of editorial and publication design projects. He was an IBM fellow at the Aspen Conference in 1983. Student projects from his Information Design class had been published by Graphis (#238).
Between 1990 and 2000, Krzysztof Lenk has been a creative directort at Dynamic Diagrams, a consulting company specializing in information and interface design.Projects from Dynamic Diagrams had been published in many international professional books and journals, and included by Richard S. Wurman in his books “Information Architects” and “Understanding USA”. As a speaker at 2001 TED Conference Lenk presented a project on global statistics. A book “Mapping Web Sites” by Lenk and Kahn, had been published in five languages in 2001. Since 2000 he is a creative advisor to Tellart, an information and interactive design studio in Providence, being run by RISD alumni.
