Graphic Designer Richard Rhys moved from Wales to London in 2002 where he studied at Central St Martins School of Art and Design. He has worked as head of print design for innovative British fashion designer Alexander McQueen, fashion photographer Nick Night on his website SHOWstudio and teaches internationally. He runs a small Design Studio in central London and amongst others has produced work for bicycle clothing company Rapha Racing, Yves Saint Laurent and private art gallery Corvi-Mora. His work has been featured in IDEA magazine, Los Angeles Times, Etapes, Eye, The Guardian, Print, GAS, The Wire, and ID. Rhys is the founding member of The Pattern Foundry, a web-project and on-line shop of decorative patterns, concerned with the promotion of patterns, collaborations with manufacturers and catering to all creative industries. Rhys is currently setting up a work-wear label with a timber haulage company from South Wales and often collaborates with writer and editor Charles Arsene-Henry.
