After studying visual communication in Munich (DE), Anette Lenz moves to Paris in 1990, where she begins to work with Alex Jordan in Grapus, and later is a co-founder of the design collective Nous Travaillons Ensemble. In 1993, she turns independent as atelier Anette Lenz in Paris. One of her first clients is the City of Blanc – Mesnil for which she designs a poster campaign, which is later shown in Paris, Chaumont and in many other european cities as part of an exhibition Approaches, 10 young design studios in France. Other large clients include the AFAA (the french foreign ministry), and the City of Chaumont for which Anette Lenz designs a corporate identity.
